PROGRAMS
Family Skate is the best way to have fun with your children, every Sunday from 10am until 12pm. Our Family Skate program is a one hour group lesson, followed by one hour of open skate. The best part about Family Skate is that it is only $10 and includes any rentals needed! We are in need of a sponsor for Family Skate, which runs every Sunday morning, as a low cost way of bringing families into our park.

At C.J. Skateboard Park, we have a variety of different lessons and programs that people can attend. On Saturdays we offer a Beginner Group Lesson @ 10:00, a Girls Group lesson @ 11:00 and another Group Lesson @ 1:00.

One in particular that is growing and becoming very popular is our Beginner Group lesson. In our Beginner group lessons, we start off with a group stretch, and then our instructor will assess the different abilities of each student, and guide each of them in a direction to better their abilities. After the one hour lesson, students also get one hour of free skate to practice what they have learned. Our Beginner Group Lesson, in addition to Saturday morning at 10:00, is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 5:00pm and is only $20 and includes all rentals excluding a skateboard when you show us your CJ Membership card.

DEMOS / TEAM INFO:
Phil Vertolli has been doing a terrific job as our new Team Manager. He's also a great instructor at CJ's. This year's demo schedule has been busy and tons of fun! You may have seen us and our C.J.'s tent at the many parks throughout the GTA. If you've got demo suggestions or opportunities, or you're interested in becoming a C.J. Team Rider, C.J. Demo Rider or even a C.J. Volunteer, you can contact Phil at philippe@cjskateboardpark.com, or at 416-259-6888.

EXCITING NEWS!
Rap superstar, Lil Wayne paid us a visit on Thursday. August 18th, the night before his big show at the Molson Amphitheatre... and then again after the show on Friday! Weezy and his crew skated C.J.'s until the wee hours of the morning; this guy’s got stamina and he skates hard!

Lil Wayne left behind a tag on one of our walls; see if you can find it next time you’re here at the Park. While you’re here, check out the new Hall of Fame & signed memorabilia wall! He also gave a great shout out to us at his concert in Toronto and a fantastic endorsement which we will have online in the coming weeks!!!

In September we kick off our Fall/Winter contest series! Some of the dates we've confirmed so far are as follows:

Come on out and show everyone what you've got. $15 entry fee gets you a great chance to enter the contest and skate for amazing prizes and give-aways. It's going to be sick!

SUMMER CAMP
Another summer of C.J. Camp has come to an end!

This year's summer camp has come to a close and it's been a non stop, fun filled, extreme adventure! A special thanks to our Camp Coordinator, Josh Fine who was instrumental in making it all happen, along with all of our other counselors. Together we learned tons of new tricks and played games like dodge-ball, capture the flag and sticker slap. There were arts and crafts, team building, and of course the best skate instruction anywhere! Each week campers received an assessment at the beginning of the week and an evaluation at the end of camp to show how they've progressed and what to work on. We also had a couple visits from the Chip & Pepper Skate Team who organized contests, gave out lots of product and skated all day with our Campers... it was a blast!

EXCITING NEWS!
The new and improved street section is finished, just a few more minor touch-ups and C.J.'s will be the best it has ever been! Newer, more variety for all abilities, built by skaters for skaters... all sheeted in EcoTop Sport®. This stuff is amazing! In case you missed the last update, there's a huge new 7' bank with transitioned bottom, a Euro gap up to a 4' quarter pipe, a new pole jam, Jersey barriers and a whole lot more. Be sure to check it out, you won't be disappointed.

There are always changes happening in our Pro Shop, in addition to some great renovations of the shop layout; we have recently received another order of new Helmets in many new colors and styles! Come in and have a helmet properly fitted by our knowledgeable staff. While there you can check out all of our new products from: Independent, Anti Hero, Thunder, Spitfire, Element, Gold, Skate Mental, ATM, Shorty's, Venture, DGK, Bones Wheels, Bones Bushings, Theeve Trucks etc, etc... including branded stickers, and a larger wheel, bushing, truck and hardware selection. We now carry Bones Bearings, Bones bushings and of course, Bones Wheels in a variety of sizes and formulas.

We have also been making changes to our parent lounge! We now have a new big screen TV, Blue-Ray player, and entertainment centre, all in an air conditioned room with Surgically Clean air! We have installed a wireless WiFi extender as well, so now you can receive wireless Internet throughout the park.

PROGRAMS
Family Skate is the best way to have fun with your children, every Sunday from 10am until 12pm. Our Family Skate program is a one hour group lesson, followed by one hour of open skate. The best part about Family Skate is that it is only $10 and includes any rentals needed! We are in need of a sponsor for Family Skate, which runs every Sunday morning, as a low cost way of bringing families into our park.

At C.J. Skateboard Park, we have a variety of different lessons and programs that people can attend. On Saturdays we offer a Beginner Group Lesson @ 10:00, a Girls Group lesson @ 11:00 and another Group Lesson @ 1:00.

One in particular that is growing and becoming very popular is our Beginner Group lesson. In our Beginner group lessons, we start off with a group stretch, and then our instructor will assess the different abilities of each student, and guide each of them in a direction to better their abilities. After the one hour lesson, students also get one hour of free skate to practice what they have learned. Our Beginner Group Lesson, in addition to Saturday morning at 10:00, is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays @ 5:00pm and is only $20 (or $15 with a CJ membership card) and includes all rentals except a skateboard.

August Skateboard Update!

SUMMER CAMP
Be a part of the next C.J. Camp experience!

We would like to officially give a big welcome to Josh Fine as our new C.J. Skate-camp Director who is also one of our senior instructors. This year's summer camp is halfway through and already it's been a non stop, fun filled, extreme adventure! We've got games like dodge-ball and capture the flag, sticker slap and high jump competitions, arts and crafts, team building, and of course the best skate instruction anywhere! Each week campers get an evaluation at the beginning and end of camp to show how they've progressed and what to work on. We still have some spots available in August so call to reserve your spot today! Registration is still open for Summer Camp. We're now into our 5th week of camp and the skating has been amazing. The day begins at 8:30 am with a group stretch then we break into smaller classes according to each camper's ability. Then mid morning we have a healthy snack followed with more lessons and then lunch is provided for all campers. After lunch campers can skate anywhere in the facility, enjoy an afternoon snack and other organized activities until 4:30 pm. Registration costs $250.00 for 5-day camp (which runs every week for the entire summer ending Sept 2nd). We're starting a customer appreciation program this summer, if you purchase 4 weeks of camp, the 5th one will be free.

June 11th S3 Ramp Jam Contest:

The "S3 Park Jam" contest in conjunction with S3 Board Shop went off on June 11th without a hitch. The park was packed! Black Label pro - Omar Hassan, Real pro - Alex Perelson, both Vans legends, and teams from Converse and DC were all here for a demo on our 12" Vert Ramp and new and improved street area. C.J. Skateboard Park completed its new 6ft mini ramp back in April, and it's been getting worked in nicely! We unveiled our new ramp for our Spring Break competition, and everyone loves it! At 6', with 7.5' transitions and only 8' of flat bottom, it's hella fast. The ramp has been completed with EcoTop Sport® surfacing, and high density concrete pool coping. (We will also have a 2ft portable extension on part of it as well).
